Author description outside the WP main loop

This is a guest post from Lozbo who runs “Academic Lozbo” dedicated to multimedia articles, tutorials and projects.

Today, I present to you: a WordPress mini loop to output the author description info in any place among your template files (in the sidebar for instance). The author description is the biographical info you set in your WordPress user configuration menu. If you don’t know what WordPress is, this tutorial might not be for you, but you could start reading more about what a CMS is, and about Open Source CMS’s.

Aqueous Free WordPress Theme

Hello and welcome to Aqueous, a liquid template created by Six Shooter Media and Stylized Web. The template itself is designed for higher resolutions, 1024×768 and up, however with it being liquid, it will work in any resolution you can throw at it. It’s written in XHTML and CSS and displays consistently on various web browsers.

MoreCSS Library Review

MoreCSS is a fantastic Design oriented JavaScript library made by YellowGreen which offers a CSS coder lots of new possibilities inside the CSS file itself like creating popups, various effects and better properties control. And also, when you get used it ti, a real time saver!

There’s no new syntax to learn and no programming skills needed, file is really small – 6 KB core script (GZIP compressed, 12 KB uncompressed), cross-browser compatible for Internet Explorer 6+, Firefox 2+, Opera 9+, Safari 2+, valid W3C CSS…

Link building SEO trick

I’ve started the SEO category while ago and just written one article about it – learn SEO basics which turned out great and looks like people are really interested to get to know SEO, so i’ll be starting kind of weekly SEO trick/tricks set of articles.
