After a short break of writing on WordPress and on the request of my subscribers i decided to make a list of useful WordPress tricks and you are probably already using some of them, if not going to when making a WordPress theme. As you already know WordPress is one of the most popular blog platforms these days and it has grown so powerful that you can use it also use as Content Management System (CMS).
If you are new to WordPress and blogging itself you should read “Before you start blogging” article and go with some free themes for now, which you can find here in free themes directory.

I’m really excited to present you version two for Stylized Web! I kind of named it sea, it’s basically very interesting and original illustration for it, and as you can see it’s totally different from previous theme, which was black and white and all CSS (if you miss it you can see it here heh)
I think it’s very cute and original with a dynamic layout (for example i’m using 3 different sidebars, footers, expanding content background etc…). Star ratings are out, i don’t really need them, now i have random post which i think is pretty cool.

I would like to introduce you to jobberBase it’s a most popular Open Source job board software developed by Filip Chereches - Tosa, extracted from the successful Romanian IT job board www.jobber.ro. JobberBase is a great solution for single-industry recruitment, and it’s simple, but yet powerful. You can download it directly here.
Some of main characteristics are posting jobs without an account, searching for jobs, apply to interesting jobs, administration panel, RSS feeds, site-widget to show jobs on other sites…

Now when we have learned how to customize your count for RSS and digg it’s time to learn how to do it for del.icio.us like I’m using on my themes page for example. As del.icio.us is in top 3 you just have to have it for bookmarking services because it usually gives most of the traffic right after Stumble
To make your count into plain text (for now and then you can do with it what ever you want) we’ll use small JavaScript and del.icio.us JSON feeds (read more about it here). You can see all kind of other services in your del.icio.us. setting account (for example network badges etc)
